Fifty Shades of Green: The Lake District in Spring

The Lake District in early May: Lambs frolicking in the fields; trees radiant with new leaves; bluebells and daffodils; rain and sunshine at the same time; lakes and waterfalls with icy crystal clear water; Beatrix Potter's Hilltop home and Wordsworth's beloved Dove Cottage and poems; long walks and talks with wonderful friends; fifty shades of green everywhere I look.  The Lake District in May is glorious!
