Prince Harry at the Cirencester Park Polo Club May 2015
When we first moved to Oxford we were given some excellent advice. We were told that if we were invited to do something we had never done before, we should just say yes. If we did, we would be in for many delightful surprises. This has proved to be true on many, many occasions. John and I were invited to a Polo match at the Cirencester Park Polo Club today. We had never been before so of course we said yes. To my complete surprise and astonishment, one of the players on Team BMG (Green Shirts) was Prince Harry.
The teams were Maserati and BMG and they were playing for the Jerudong Trophy
Harry was voted the MVP of the game. Together both teams raised 183,ooo pounds today for charity.

Case in point: what a delightful surprise! Thank you Nadejda and Mohamed for a lovely afternoon. After a day like today I think I'll keep following that advice and just say yes!
