On the Rooftops of Oxford

The rooftops of Oxford are fascinating.  Towers, spires, chimneys, sculptures, ancient trees, weather vanes, and domes of every variety define the skyline. It is worth every step to climb one of the steep staircases of the Oxford towers and be rewarded a rooftop view.  If heights are not your thing, just look up -- you'll be amazed at what you can see on the rooftops of Oxford.

For Close-up Views of the rooftops of Oxford:

The University Church of St. Mary the Virgin on High Street.  This is my favorite because it is right in the heart of the city and you can see to the borders of Oxford in every direction.
